(I'd even say it rivals "European Club Gig")

After reading this i gave it a DL and a listen, and oh my you guys werent kidding!!!

Its on the tracker, in full, but from two different sources. I recommend making the switch from the lower quality source before jumbo.

This is just an absolutely sick show, can't believe I've never heard it until now. Definitely gives the Koln '99 show a run for its money. Thank you joethelion for bringing it up and twicezero for the link

Re: Wishlist - Beaucoup fish deluxe boxset
I dug this gig out of my boot stash and have to agree, it's amazing.

Beaucoup Fish is still my favorite UW album. Is it technically or emotionally the best? Perhaps not. But it always moves me and reveals new sounds.
I said it before, but again...let's have alternative versions/ works in progress, a healthy helping of jams and unreleased tracks like Cappe Ffuno and Five Points.

I dont think any Peel Session 2003 tracks belong on there. And Belfort is 1998, and Fuji is 1999. Blue Mountain is early 1999 too. If youre going for live tracks, dont just pick the tracks that appeared on the album. Pick a gig. A whole gig that represents. The early 1998 sets only really had KoS, and then PU and then Cups and then Jumbo. 1999 had a more polished set but the 1998 sets were more upbeat and harder like the 1996 sets.

they were chosen, because they were officially released, or at least
endorsed.

yes, of course, a full gig would be great.

but there are too many to choose from.

i'm sure as mentioned above, there are some great gigs that highlight
that era.

but back then, they used a lot of song from previous albums, so it's
listeners choice as to what they would like to hear.

Hey where did you download? The tracker? I would love to be able to DL more Underworld bootlegs like this. Any suggestions? I just have the official live releases from them.

that - I'm not sure of...

I have two versions (I'm at work now, so neither of which are handy right now)

One sounds more like a radio broadcast - there's a bit of analogue 'static' throughout, and it starts with pre-gig music ... vaguely 'hip hop ish' (it lasts for only a few seconds). The tracks are separated in larger chunks, and the bootleg doesn't include the "Cowgirl" encore.

Then there's a second version, which - to my ears sounds a bit cleaner. It does not include the pre-gig music. All of the improvs and songs are separated into tracks, and it does include Cowgirl

Glad to know more people are finding out about this show! To me it's as 'essential' as "European Club Gig" "Tramway '94" or "Bootleg Babies"
