Steve Reich
Went to a local show and saw a Steve Reich "cover band", they were fantastic. I haven't listened to much Steve Reich but a lot of the music they played made me think of Underworld with the rhythms and, I'm not quite sure, you know that Underworld sound?

Anyway, how much influence has Steve Reich had on Underworld, if any?

Re: Steve Reich
I've only heard Music for 18 Musicians...anything else worth checking out?
(I mean, I know there is, but come on, the man's discography is massive)

Re: Steve Reich
All the repeating piano parts you hear Rick play are influenced by Steve Reich, in my opinion.

i was expecting this track to be reminiscent of UW's "Counterpoint Hang Pulse", instead it's in the Orb's classic.
But yes, a lot of the piano patterns in UW tracks are Reichian.

Re: Steve Reich
I thought UW had played Steve Reich in their radio shows.
