Re: Underworld Recordings
Reason is, it's 2018 and not 1998.i loved the ftp site a couple decades ago. The tracker has been a fine repository, but it's attendees have dwindled, much like this site. Get what you can, but don't expect an onslaught of traffic. I'd tried to carry the torch here for years, but, well, it's no longer 1998.

Re: Underworld Recordings
What I posted is what I have easy access to at the moment. I am 95% sure I have more on another pc, but I don't have much time to be uploading and futzing with file transgers and the like.
Edit: i do have more, but the other stuff I have is audience recordings. I am gonna dig around and maybe try and resurect a dead hard drive, but I have lost a decent amount of the stuff I sorted off the ftp server. Last edited by jetpig; 05-28-2018 at 04:53 PM. |

I just don't think a torrent tracker service works for this because the demand is lower here. We're niche. A file server somewhere, like the old FTP, or a new mega account, is ideal. I also hate torrenting because it becomes permanent the second you make the torrent available. Say you discover the name of an unreleased track, or discover a newer higher quality source, or you make new artwork for a show, you can't update that without making a new torrent. And you can't update your own local files without breaking the ability to seed (or without setting up a seedbox which many don't have the time or interest to do). |

Re: Underworld Recordings
I did see some PM's to seed stuff on the tracker, but I am not in a position to do so.
All my recordings have been moved to different drives, renamed, etc. Also, I don't have constant highspeed internet either. (Only on weekends). Maybe it is time to move the files to a storage locker or if someone wants to host a resilio link type server, maybe that would work. later -1 |

Re: Underworld Recordings
if someone can upload to a google drive these few 94-98 shows in FLAC , i would seed them if they remain untouched from the original form and stop busting balls , i must have sent over 100 pms to members and only 2 took the time to answer

Re: Underworld Recordings
Here is Glasto 98:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=119...JHHkt-t8zkQtjy I also have Organic, Quart, and Sound City 94 on CDs burned from FLAC in my car, need incentive to rip those back to FLAC for you though. Someone can probably beat me to the punch with the originals anyway. |

Re: Underworld Recordings
As one of the two to respond, you are being quite demanding. This is all a labor of love and we are all quite busy. Noone is trying to keep things from you, we just have lives that prevent us from making trading 20 year old live sets a priority. I uploaded a RATHER complete collection that had those sets (except Glad to I think), and I can assure you flac vs mp3 isnt gonna make a lick of difference in audio quality considering the sources. These sets WILL resurface, someone here WILL get them up, it just might be a while.
