Kung Fu Panda

saw this with the kids, and i thought it was great

its a familar story - underachiever makes good, but it seems like a different concept for animation - being all Kung Fu based its kind of stylised in the Crouching Tiger way, slo-mo's, fights in the air that sort of thing - obviously very kiddie friendly - with an all star cast - Hoffman is especially good, Jack Black as the Panda - is kinda himself - fun if you like him

despite it being a similar story thats been told a hundred times before - it was still engaging and fun to watch - although the kids lose interest when there's no Kung-Fu - but there was a lot of KF action so its cool...

not sure if its gonna be the best animation of the year, what with Wall-E (and Star Wars) coming but hell its an improvement on the rubbish that some studios have chucked out in the recent past...
