Portishead - LP3
it's done, they're mixing it.

sorry this may not be a huge deal and we wont even smell it until next year, but it's very exciting to me and i was just wondering yesterday what the hell happened.

Re: Portishead - LP3
well... I will say that I am a bit excited

but - they've been 'almost done' or done-but we want to work on a bit more after our Christmas vacation, etc etc since around the time of their performance with Massive Attack a while back (it was for that Tsunami)

then again... I think it's been sooooo long, and there have been soooo many rumors that the album is coming out (over the years) - that my expectations for how good/bad the album will be are now inversely proportional to the passage of time.

like, back when they were "in Prodigy territory" of time to make a follow-up (like with AONO) ... back then, I was really really hoping that it'd be a massively better, forward-thinking album

...now - as long as it's more than just farts in the microphone - I'll be pleasantly surprised
