Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl
Anyone know anything about getting a good rip from vinyl? (Or where on the forums I should ask such a thing?)

Here are a couple guides I've been holding onto. I haven't tried either yet, so I can't say how good they are. I've been meaning to do 24/96 transfers of all the UW vinyl-only tracks (about 9 of them, I think) for a while now.

Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl
So 500 copies total:
- ebay/discogs flippers
- collectors with no turntable
= how many people exactly will legally get to hear these?!

I get exclusives when it comes to packaging, but not tracks, not anymore. It'll be up online for all to hear, so why does uw rob themselves of potential $?

Hope so. I had no idea these would sell out so fast. The OST versions are short:

Slow Slippy: 3.50
Eventually But: 2.24

Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl
From Facebook:

Quote:
The first pressing of the Eventually But/Long Slow Slippy 12” sold out in under 96 hours so we are putting more on order. Those that got the first run will be receiving theirs shortly. The second pressing are now available to pre-order.

A) Long Slow Slippy (full-length version of a reimagined Born Slippy (Nuxx)
AA) Eventually But (a new Underworld track, a remix of which is on the T2 Trainspotting soundtrack)
So, the demand obviously caught them by surprise. The 500 copies they pressed weeks ago will go out this week, but the 2nd pressing orders will ship a month later.

Interesting that they call "Everything But" a remix on the T2 soundtrack.

Re: Long Slow Slippy limited edition vinyl
Still curious to hear the extended/fill/remix versions.

As predicted, T2 apparently wallows in nostalgia. And that's fine by me. But for new UW tunes, I sincerely hope that they're a bit more enticing than what's been described above.
