Underworld 1985-1991 by Baz Allen
https://bazallen.wordpress.com/underworld/
Meta data says this was posted mid-March of this year. I haven't had time to read it as I'm about to dart out the door to work! Lots of pics and a decent length writeup, though. |

Interesting, thanks!
The photo captioned "Taken in Chicago Illinois 1988 or is it Detroit?" appears to be Detroit. Note Hudson's department store: http://reuther.wayne.edu/node/4432 How do I know this, since I've not from Detroit? Motown fan. Diana Ross used to work at Hudson's before the Supremes hit big. |

Cool find, thanks!
I have tried repeatedly, but just can't get into Mk I of the band we love. Maybe if I'd heard them fresh and new in the 80's? Still, that time touring and toiling informed R&K, and the sound carried over into early Lemon Interrupt/ Steppin Razor/ Mk ii work. Bring on Mk iv with Price on board!

I was an 80s kid, so belatedly hearing Mk. I was a lot of fun, even if it wasn't their most innovative period. Freur were even better.
Agreed regarding Mk. IV and Pricey, from a live standpoint at least. |
