Re: Underworld visits ATL
that was phenomenal! the venue packed in right as the show got underway, and if they didn't sell out they came damn close. the vibes were awesome and there didn't seem to be a bad vantage point in the place. i had to get up and go out into the corridor a few times thanks to the nausea, but every time i came back in there was this beautiful clear view of everything.

rick looked so happy that i wished i could shrink him down and take him home in my breast pocket.

i can by no means provide a setlist, but i can list what i can recall (not necessarily in order):
juanita/kiteless/to dream of love (the whole thing, and my god i had goosebumps!), born slippy/nuxx, jumbo, crocodile, dirty epic (so. freaking. awesome.), 2 months off, a bit of pearls girl transitioning into beautiful burnout, cowgirl/rez, and then they did king of snake for an encore.

i'm sure i missed stuff and i think i might have mixed up the order a bit. someone else can fill in the gaps.

oh yes, and geoff is right, they opened with darc which was a wonderful little "for the fans" thing, at least the way i interpreted it.

Re: Underworld visits ATL
missed half of the show... but i came in late. the second half was a bit like this:

Dirty Epic
Mo Move (no lyrics)
Two Months Off
Pearl's Girl intro
Beautiful Burnout
Born Slippy (Original)
A little weird bit from one of the RiverRun projects
Cowgirl
Rez
King Of Snake

i know i left out a couple, but i can't remember what they were.

Re: Underworld visits ATL
fantastic! seemed like there were some gremlins fiddling with the gear earlier in the set but it didn't matter... and the best version of 'dirty epic' i've heard yet!

Re: Underworld visits ATL
Could barely even sleep last night, too much adrenaline pumping.

BTW, sorry I missed you dirts! Would have liked to meet some of ya...

I wasn't lucky enough to catch the guys after the show, but took a couple pics of the gear getting loaded into a truck. I couldn't believe how many crates they have ... ! Easily 30.

taoyoyo is right, best Dirty Epic i've ever heard. Karl was animated like I've never seen before, in a haunting kind of way, washed in red light Awesome.
