I'm happy for spain. too bad all the women don't look like Penelope Cruz... :P

there was lots of talk on among commentators on ESPN about how association football is becoming more popular and this euro 2008 tournament had relatively high ratings and won-over a lot of american fans. perhaps the ratings spike is mainly because NFL, NBA, and NHL aren't in season and baseball is absolutely terrible to watch on TV.

Q: what nations does Sky sports have broadcasts in?

that has to be true, Isili, because 10+ people in my office or among my friends who have never watched a full game of soccer in their lives watched a good chunk of this tournament and loved it. hopefully thats a sign of things to come.
