Well, with the recession and all, you know, even ladies of the night are upping prices so you can too. You're worth it & will always be one of my fav. h.

I enjoyed it. It's definitely a lot better than Laidback Luke's take on it.

To be honest I enjoyed both of 'em. Maybe it's just my eclectic mind, but both of 'em just sound cool enough to listen to more then just once...

sure, there were a lot of posts about the different FORMATS, but as far as the remixes in of themselves... not so much

and yes, they (the remixes of BB by other artists) do sound alike... aaaand they're all in the same style of music as well (tech/minimal whatever)

and I'm not saying that minimal, Pig & Dan, Tiefschwarz, nor even Mark Knight as "bad" per se
I actually really really dig Pig & Dan

but...at the same time, it's nice to have something DIFFERENT

even all the Crocodile mixes were pretty much just straight tech / minimal stuff (although, it was nice that each of them were very different amongst themselves... like I couldn't imagine someone confusing the Oliver Hunteman mix with say... the Innervisions Orchestra Mix - which, in my opinion you couldn't say about the BB remixes)

But I have to argue that it is a bit minimal.
i can't deny that i love the pig and dan UW remixes. heh, it's almost a fetish though, ten years ago i would have relished being into house at all. it wasn't cool back then....

This reminds me of a Darren Emerson set which was linked on here with that Italian "MC" shouting stupid things all over the place. "Underwooorld! Underwooooooooorld!!!" Similar to a video of some horrible accident/disaster: It gives you physical pain from watching it but you just can't turn it off...

Ditto and oh my god it reminds me of some Stock Aitken Waterman production for Timmy Mallet!

Now i have that Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Pooka Dot Bikini going in my head lol

Re: Ring Road - Fake Blood Remix - Underworldlive.com
Anyone remeber The Sifl & Olly show that was on MTV in the late 90s?
It was a variety show hosted by two sock puppets. Every episode, they'd sing a new song.
One of their songs was 'Fake Blood, you rock me like the real thing'.

Yeah. I think I like the sock puppets "fake blood" a whole lot better than this Fake Blood Ring Road. Ring Road is good as is.

There's my 2 Cents on this remix. Can I get my change back please.

i'm sure you meant Darren Price.

the more i hear the Fake Blood mix, the more i like it. this would work very well on a dancefloor filled with indie-hipsters who like Simian Mobile Disco + Justice + Switch shit. sadly, that's the same crowd i'd like to gun down with an automatic weapon or explosives strapped to my chest.

not a bad mix though. i'm diggin it.
