You're a diamond, Mr TheBang. What a stonker! Very carnivally feel to it; reminds me of bits of AHDO. Bring on the Bells ;D

He is the kind of guy that would brag about it if he had the album

Re: Crocodile preview... listen to Pete Tong now...
I could swear I've heard Underworld play "Crocodile" live during one of their webcast-only video shows. Not the same as the album version, but close enough that I recognize the rhythm.

It's definitely living up to their reputation, however. Looking forward to the final album, which I'm buying unless I hear of terrible reviews.

If you've ever heard a baby croc before, a similar sound starts to happen in the song around 46 seconds into it. *Chirp* *Chirp* (repeat)

maybe it is a baby croc.....probably it's just a sample of a guitar chord cut short.

It was a version of it featuring a slower beat, and a more "haunting" main synth part that, while cool, gave it an ackward vibe IMO. The vocals are only echoed/vocoded in the chorus, and the breakdown synth stuff is more in the background than on the studio version (and sounds a little different too).
It sounds a lot better now that it's faster, shorter, and has better effects and such. Still ain't diggin' the lyrics much however.
