...well - if memory serves me

just trimming two tracks would make it go from a double album to a single disc

so...

hey.. go to the artisresistance.com one. it was a great government warning that pops up saying what you're doing is illegal. plus it has a link to a messageboard mockup which is just spot-on.

Re: nine inch nails - year zero
I'm going to see Nine Inch Nails both Wednesday and Thursday* nights this week, although if there's anything to be found I'm sure one of the Spiral members who'll be there all day will have it.
Not been on a lot lately, but go to say I am loving the hype this is creating, and delighted with the direction Trent's taking (narrative rather than introspective) - bravo! Oh and The Fragile was is an incredible piece of work, as someone's said Starfuckers needs to be interpreted correctly, I agree that it's not a literal piece but more of a commentary on what Marilyn Manson had become.

*performing an experiment I performed with Death In Vegas two years ago - Wednesday will be a sober one and Thursday will be an absolute melter

By the way what a show! Probably the most dynamic Nine Inch Nails performance I've seen, and all the way through this great method of mixing songs completely together - Closer mashed up with The Only Time, The Frail into a stripped down La Mer dropping like a bomb into Into The Void. And they played Last, I've not even heard that played live in a bootleg. Opened with Mr Self Destruct instead of the usual Pinion, Pinion was mixed up into something else later... Can't wait for tonight's show - an absolute treat for anyone who knows the catalogue, rarities like Help Me I Am In Hell performed in their entirety..

I was wondering when you'd be reporting back Ally. Glad to hear it was a good time.

Not that that's a deep dark place for me or anything.

Second night was phenomenal, to my great surprise the setlist was massively different - opened with Pinion, then Wish then Heresy. Got to hear tracks like Deep, Reptile. For a Nine Inch Nails fan these two gigs were an absolute delight, the full breadth of the catalogue was covered including some wicked suprises and mashups of tracks. Got pure Rog'd

I liked a lot of the album right off, but some tracks have taken a while for me to get into. A bit like listening to Underworld's "Second Toughest..."-- my brain didn't work quite right; the music was ahead of me, somehow, and I had to catch up.
