Re: and: the poetry thread
and he was sitting there
with patience
waited to be photographed
watched it cross the room again
then it turned around and left
he left

isn“t life just amazing sometimes
coincidences or miracle
is it your choice
ha ha
I just wanna play he said
the soundtrack to the game of the day
goes like
there is one bird in my house...
http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...78eef5418b.jpg

NO KIDDING!

and he woke up from a dream
and heard something like a momma
and he smelled time
and parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
and it was smelling good
and pretty
and fit
and everything everything
and he felt better
a lot better

Oh, me? Thank you for asking...

Re: and: the poetry thread
Today I am grateful so here is a list of things I love in this world.

I dig the sound of a good beat, turned up so loud I feel it vibrating through the floors. After my classes are done, I like to pick up a coffee and sit outside the Mathieson Library for a cigarette before I head home. My best friends are all beautiful creatures. Mangoes are my favourite fruit. I enjoy finishing off a long day by constructing an excellent playlist in iTunes, rolling a joint and lolling about on my laundry-covered bedroom floor. I like to delude myself into thinking I'm a good writer as I pour out my disjointed, messy poetics into the various notebooks I've amassed. I get off on the presence of enthusiastic and warm-hearted people. I enjoy daydreaming about my beautiful Philosophy lecturer (forearms, wide blue eyes, nice glasses, floppy blonde hair - oh) and tutor. I feel good when I break into darker places and go underground into the belly of the city, in drains and abandoned places where the light is thin and dust moves with me. I love Ableton and FL Studio and feeling the incomparably satisfying magic of letting a beat I've made loose through my speakers. I probably love you.

Do you love? And what do you love?

i really enjoyed that. those lyrics or poem, whichever you call it, it's alive. the words go into the brain and dance through the toes. i feel like i saw through your eyes for a minute there. you should seriously consider writing as a profession.
