Oblivion Ball Tokyo Live CD - Order at HMV!

Mine arrived yesterday but I was not at home because I was working. Tomorrow morning between 8-12 AM they will deliever it again though so I know what I will do tomorrow.

As promised, a hunky parcel force guy delivered my cd on new years' eve @ 08.30 - (I hope he liked my blue bath robe) - similar packaging as the LiveHereNow cds, however, these are proper printed silver cds - images of the Tomato Art Wall are on the sleeve - "Nu Train" starts the ride - wot other band could fire you up with the line "I like the Discovery channel" - genius (ride the train)

Mine just arrived as well..noice they even have the tracks listed on the CD's. The only thing I wondered about was that the parcel was pretty big...lol. Check this monster out:

I will slam those discs this afternoon in my head on my Sennheisers in proper loudness and quality..can't wait for that. CD1 has 5 tracks but is over an hour long..just the way I like it.

God this recording is so good it is almost embarrasing. CD1 with Nu train in a fantastic version, my two fav faster tracks on OWB Crocodile and Digital Burnout on it also played in recognizable different and longer versions than in the other recordings I heard so far. Add the never old growing Cowgirl/Rez combo and the Boy Boy Boy track which is one of the most awesome live performances I have ever heard from Underworld. I so hope they play it when I see them in Frankfurt. This CD is basically 62 minutes goosebumps and waves of energy going down my spine..almost an over dose even without any drugs lol. I kept myself from listening to CD2 but this will happen this evening. Yee Hah.

And the quality is absolutely amazing. I've got the shivers too while I am listening to this - I felt the adrenalin rush at Karl's intro almost as intensely as when I was at the last gig.

Roundhouse 28th February - BRING IT ON!!

Edit: and the vocal treatment on Cowgirl is brilliant - probably one of the best versions I have heard. Sounds like Karl is singing an octave higher over a vocorded sample of the deep bassy vocal. Refreshingly different. I didn't latch onto this during the live broadcast.

Surprisingly my order for the Oblivion Ball today. I was expecting as least a few weeks, but it only took 7 days to get to me. I'm in Arizona, btw.


I'll definitely order more product thru HMV Japan in the future.
