Re: Brighton 24/10/08
i almost made a video i was so hooked on it. dunno how i would justify the sound but it was one of those ideas that the track made and needed to get out
one of my fave bootleg moments ever. and this is great because this means it's probably in the cards for the brixton gigs. |

"Strumpet"? I'll have to check out the old Electraglide gig as per Dubman's recollection. Another case of UW taking years to shape and perfect a track, i suppose!
Regarding "Always Loved a Film" vs. "Silver Boots"... I think it was during a 2005 radio show that Rick said something along the lines of: "For the hardcore spotters, that was another work in progress, "Always Loved a Film", now it has something to do with "Silver Boots" So, i guess for a time, ideas were being mashed up (as with Phonestrap vs Autotrader) and now they are split into two songs. When played on dirtyradio 5/2006 - ALAF included the "I'm a big sister" lyrics. The latest play on dirtyradio (was it May?) didn't have any singing by Karl, but had a sample of Danielle Short about receiving a letter.

Yes, I found it interesting that TWO songs that first(?) debuted at the same show would both have such long gestational periods: Biro the Leggy and Strumpet.
