Re: nine inch nails - year zero
I liked (most of) With Teeth, I just meant it's good they're not retreading.

Fragile FTW for sure!

There was another track that was released today, through official channels of radio stations.

Re: nine inch nails - year zero
I thought it questionable with Reznor's first mixes and full length if he would fall into a one package wonder void.

Then, he released his next package "broken/fixed" and I thought let this guy experiment with sound however the fuck he wants. I wasn't too crazy over Teeth or the one before that to really even recall what they were.

I stand corrected with this lastest live effort, and that's not even because I'd be the total groupie whore for him.

I agree with this. These are the best 2 moments on the album. Plus Beside You In Time which sounds the most like it could have come from The Downward Spiral out of everything on With Teeth.

Coem on Trent, let's have a disc of 100% good this time.

Ah, thats too easy though. You gotta at least have moved up to four and five letter words in succession before throwing in a hyphenated word.

Re: nine inch nails - year zero
It's a joke from many previous NIN threads that I think never gets old. I like them and everything and listened to them today. And they do a lot to make radio-friendly and catchy a type of music that is largely inaccessible to most people. But sometimes I think the lyrics just get in the way and you have to laugh. Seriously, "Starfuckers, Incorporated"?

Re: nine inch nails - year zero
people are liking "my violent heart" enough but i really think survivalism is not only a better song, but better than most anything on his last one.

Re: nine inch nails - year zero
Burning flesh inside this hell!
Now I'm but an empty shell!
Drowning in a pool of lies!
Ears are ringing from my cries!

You are someone that is gone!
You left me here I was your pawn!
How could I be so dumb inside!
I could not tell that you had lied!

EMPTY SHELL!
EMPTY SHELL!
EMPTY SHELL!
BURN IN HELL!!!!!

You hurt me really fuckin bad!
My soul is dripping tears of sad!
Now I'm really fuckin mad!
Cant remember feeling glad!

This is fuckin unlucky shit!
Once again I'm in a pit!
[screaming] FUCK!
I'm all alone and feeling stuck!

EMPTY SHELL!
EMPTY SHELL!
EMPTY SHELL!
BURN IN HELLLLL!!!!!
