Damn it, mised the poll option. I am unfortunately a technological moron and this was inevitable. Just successfully followed up on your suggestion...I can't believe it was so easy.
I'm afraid you're gonna be on that desert island quite a while and it's simply beyond credibilty that Elton will forego basking in the glory of some of his greatest hits such as Nikita and Candle...Wind.
TOBH I find it an almost impossible choice.

To give an update on this exciting clash of the titans, it seems Billy Joel is giving Elton a bit of a hiding. For every one vote gained by the Englishman, his American counterpart has two. So in actual numbers, that's one vote to Elton John, and two to Billy Joel.

If you could play piano or write songs of the calibre of Billy or Elton, then perhaps people would give you a listen. Though there should be no perhaps about it- millions of adoring fans would most certainly give you repeated listens.
