Man totally week, i passed up seeing them in Miami and their first show in NY cuz I figured Avalon would be a good place to see them and they go and cancel their show!!!!!!

saw the orb live in 2004 i think, they rocked pretty fuckin hard.

read a few reviews from this tour, aparently they play a lot of kompakt stuff, some stuff from the pomme fritz era too, and some classic traxxx. mixed reviews, some people raving and saying it was awesome, some not. when i saw them, there was a small enough crowd for the atmosphere to be awesome.

so yea, go and see em if you can.

I figured as much.

No chance to see them cuz the club i was supposed to see them got shut down the night before hand. Ended up going to see Derrick Carter instead at what has now become my new favorite venue in the city.

But yeh yo, 5 clubs in NYC shut down in one night. Crazy.

I actually quite liked the show

but yea - Thomas totally does most of the work

while he was 'opening' for the show proper Alex actually was just hanging out and having a few drinks amongst us in the crowd. I got to say hi and got an autograph


it was basically a dex n' fx show... but it seemed that they worked a bit harder than the usual show of that type
