i've bought the downloads, obvioulsy because i'm a bit of a fan ( ) but if thats not you're bag then hold out and catch the vinyl (or cd single) releases - they will restore your faith that these are not mere fillers....
Matt, Do you have some inside information that we don't have regarding future releases?

I think the bigger fans of Beaucoup Fish will tend not to favor the RRP. The sounds are more akin to STITI and AHDO...imho, of course.

no, i like it as a set to listen to, but each of the individual pieces are bigger and fuller tracks, and i prefer the longer unmixed versions...

i like what they have done with these downloads, but sometimes i just want to hear the original version in its entirity

APFC is 19:43 minutes long in its entirity, whereas its 8:05 on P4E

Back in the Fears is 11:39 when played on Tokyo CD, and is only 2:15 on P4E

Food a Ready is about the same length on both Itunes version & P4E

JAL to Tokyo is much better mixed up by Paul Woolford, at 7:54 minutes long (there is a 9 minute mix also), but the LBT version is just 5:37...

I know of a version of Peggy Sussed at 7:31 long, which is 4 minutes longer than the 3:21 minute P4E version

The two Pig and Dan mixes of Play Pig are about 8 minutes long, its only 2:46 on P4E, i think the original must be a longer track...

i'd certainly recommend downloading the original pieces, but i'd also recommend waiting for the 12" releases, we'll see how good the original versions are (hoping that they are on the remix 12"'s and not just the remixes...)

well, aside from Karl stating that they were gonna release some vinyl shortly, and as recently as this week stating that the reaction to the 'white labels' was good - i think he has hinted at some kind of releases several times already

also, i do have a CD-R of JAL to Tokyo, that i won from ebay, with two Paul Woolford mixes on it, which indicates some kind of release...

also i know a man who knows some stuff who keeps me informed...

also we know of the following remixes in the pipeline (or already finished), which i suspect are scheduled for release, i assume, otherwise why ask (& pay remixers) to remix yer stuff?:

Peggy Sussed - Pete Heller Mixes (Vox & Dub)
Play Pig - Pig and Dan Mixes (Mix 1 & Mix 2)
JAL to Tokyo - Paul Woolford Mixes (Vox & Dub)
plus Rhobag Wruhme Remixes and Nic Fanucilli Remixes?

i hope that they will be released soon, but the promos must be in very short supply as i've seen none on ebay, and the one i won was a CD-R (one of 25 copies)

i suspect that they have been sent to the very most exclusive DJs only....
