Re: Wales robbed by evil All Blacks after history repeats
So BOD scores with the last move of the game to grab a draw for the plucky Oirish. Not a great game and a draw probably a fair result with both teams enjoying periods of dominance although perhaps the Aussies will feel they should have been further ahead going into the last 10 minutes.

England absolutely shocking against Argentina - they seem to be going backwards under Martin Johnson. ABs to win at a canter this weekend.

Toss up between that game and the Scottish one for worst game of the weekend. Scotland's old Achilles heel of lacking creativity was to the fore again but they did enough to beat a limited Fijian side.

As for Wales, we were holding on in the last five minutes but to be honest we butchered so many try scoring opportunities before then we should have been 30 or 40 points up by that time. Still there were a load of youngsters playing and, interception pass aside, Biggar had a pretty good game and in the last year is already looking like the natural successor to Stephen Jones at fly half and seems a much more natural 10 than James Hook. Good performance by Martyn Williams' likely successor too, young Sam Warburton although he'll be having nightmares about that dropped pass when the line was at his mercy.
The amount of line breaks we created was encouraging but we're going to need to start finishing some of them off soon before it becomes a monkey on our back.

Have torrented the Wales v. Samoa game, and the Bokke v France one as well - will watch them once I've finished my report writing.

The doped up muppets who sang the South African anthem - wtf was all that about?

Just in case you've missed it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxAc6O_WBFE

Commentator at the end of it: "This is a highly experience South African team, but not many of them, will have ever experienced their anthem being sung quite like that.."

The Sweaties beat the Shackledraggers after Giteau misses the conversion at fulltime.

First Scottish win over Australians in 27 years. Final score 9-8.

The Blackness beat a one-dimensional England - who played with lots of fire and determination but had some boys with feet for hands on the wing - and couldn't break the line. McAwe and DC tackled themselves to a standstill.

Wilko v. DC didn't live up to the hype - DC having left his kicking boots on the bus, and Wilko - dropkicking for glory with the backline crying for the ball... WTF?

The Black Ferns got beaten by the English women's team tho.

Yes!
We like that.

Blackness: 39
Les Bleus: 12

Two trips to the northern hemisphere in the last 2 years - and the All Blacks try line yet to be crossed.

Long season, a tough one as well - that game was a great way to finish it.

Very happy for a season without a loss for the Irish! Great way to end things and the team is looking so strong even when there are 3 long term injuries and a bit of a dodgy scrum... but we still have a stability we havnt ever had i dont think.
