Yannick! I haven't been here in a long time, so I didn't know whether you were still around, too! Good to "see" you again, man. We met once at the 2003 Coachella and you liked this custom UW shirt I had with "On Your Way To A New Tension Headache" on the back. (Still have the shirt, of course.)

Anyway, I'm very, very excited about tonight! Really wish I was going to be there live, but SF is just out of reach for me tonight. Plus, then I'd have to be driving all day tomorrow to be in time for the Hard Summer show tomorrow night in L.A.

Finally, my question is whether I am to click this link -- http://qtunderworld.edgeboss.net/dow...rld/uw_ref.mov -- tonight at around 8:45 p.m. to activate the stream from Oakland.

This is correct, right? No need to send an email to "7aug09@underworldlive.com"? Or should I send an email anyway, just to be safe? Would someone confirm this for me?

As of last night, what I get when I click the link is a QuickTime stream that opens with a splashscreen announcing the gig, then a warped out sequence of colors over a live perfomance of "Cowgirl" gradually fading into Karl singing live. The whole thing lasts about five minutes, but tonight at 9, it should be replaced by the true, live gig, yeah?

Can someone confirm this for me?

C'mon, y'all! This is a rare UW weekend for those of us in the States! UW is very underappreciated here, so let's make up for that at these shows!

And since I realize UW has many fans, probably most of whom are, in fact, not in the U.S., I hope all of you have been or will be able to catch them on this tour. I hope there's no one feeling left out because UW's not getting to their corner of the globe, but I know it's probably the case somewhere. So, I promise I'll be thinking of you guys (I intend to stay sober), I love of all you fellow UW fans, and remember that Rick and Karl truly, truly appreciate us, as well. Hence, don't feel left out, for we're all lovely, lovely Dirts!

Hey guys quick question, im setting myself up here to try and record the show tonight on what equipment i have. I have a little problem.

Now im aware that there are probably programs and stuff which will record live feeds for you while you watch and you can get them full screen and stuff, but what i am doing is simply feeding what i can see on my computer into my HDD dvd recorder and recording it that way... the video feed we are going to be getting though is coming in QT format and is very small on the screen..

is there any way of viewing the feed in full screen? or at least 200% in order to maintain some quality to it?
