Re: The Official OWB Thread
I gave it first listen last night after the Diamondbacks got swept .

I hadn't listened to anything pre-release other than Crocodile and the Beautiful Burnout off their myspace page. I think the overall record is uniquely Underworld with all of their inspirations showing. Holding the Moth is way harder than I thought it would be, in a good way. I hope they begin to play it out on this tour. I enjoy Glam Bucket, but after hearing the live versions before hand, I probably would have enjoyed it more if I heard the album version first. Like it's been said here before, it reminds me of how Twist is live compared to the CD.

I like all of the ideas presented, and I like how 'live' it feels. You know real instruments and whatnot. I'm sure the rest will click sooner or later. Can't wait to see they have next.

I guess my favorite is either Holding the Moth or Best Mamgu Ever.

The DVD is fine, but not essential. I was expecting it to be shown in 16x9 screen size, but that's just nit-picking. And I really dig the shirt.

Besides Beautiful Burnout, Boy Boy Boy is now my favorite track on the album. I just wish it were longer.... Can't wait to hear a live version.

Interestingly, "To Heal" is currently the best-selling track from the album on iTunes.

I noticed it too! Is it only on the CD/DVD combo or also on the regular CD? It's the last line in the credits.

Re: The Official OWB Thread
Finally got my cd+dvd. Sounds soo much better uncompressed.

Loving how the CD insert unfolds into one of those long vertical images...... reminds me of some of the images Karl posted on uwlive WAAAY back in the day. Anybody remember those?
