Re: TONIGHT...
Well, for what its worth, I like it. At first I thought, hmmm, this is very commercial. But I have listened to it a few times now and think its very uplifting, I love the vocals and its growing on me!!! The beat is not 'classic' underworld, but it has many underword-type-bits.
I don't subscribe to a 'this is commercial so the album is going to be full of commercial tunes' or 'this is a collaboration so every track on the album is going to be a collaberation and wont sound like underworld' blah blah blah. Lets just wait and see - I cant wait. Anyway, wonder if there will be a new track played on Tongs show at the weekend? Zane Lowe said he would be playing the first single from the album and that it was a slower bpm. I know the website says Tong will be playing the full version, but it sounds like there may be another track too? Wooohoooooo. A new record

Re: TONIGHT...
hey guys, if this is generic dnb, please point me to or list 3-5 examples that sound similar enough to warrant calling this track 'generic'.
i'll wait...

![]() Like stated earlier, if UW just released a fancy studio version of YDS everyone would be grumbling, if they release something new and different everyone grumbles cause it's not what they originally expected/ hoped for. There's nothing wrong with this new track, it's going to grow on most of yall just fine (especially the long version I'd imagine). Also, there's nothing wrong with Drum and Bass music!!! Now you pesky fuckers complain about the beats and so UW will read the responses here and decide that they don't want to do any more DnB (if they even do actually read what you "morans" think).

Re: TONIGHT...
Well, I liked it. I'd love to hear the full version. I'm glad they're pushing forward and not just regurgitating the versions of tracks we've been hearing for years.
Personally, I find the studio version of You Do Scribble to be a bit dry, but I'll bet they'll probably put it on the single for those of you that want it. Collaborations are not necessarily a bad thing, and I'm sure the boys will make judicious use of them, and not fill an album full of collabs (yuck). But if they can turn out well AND provide more exposure for the band, then I'm all for it. |
