I wouldn't take Barry because his duties are going to change if he gets transferred to Liverpool. I see other little... potential hiccups in your plan.

I'm not sure how transfers work in PL sanctioned fantasy, but you have 5 per month and 30 total on Sky Sports. I'm playing both just to see how it goes. I had two dream teams and split them between the two based on which one maximized pricing in each system.

you have one free transfer per gameweek, otherwise you get a penalty of 4 points for each additional transfer. once per season you can pkay a wild card meaning you can change your entire team without penalty if you want. last year Matt/BSS had two teams. They were both awful.

As for Barry, you might be right. And where is Friedel going to be playing?

you're forgetting:

3. Ronaldo to be staying at Old Trafford (he's been misunderstood all summer)

1. Well he would say that, wouldn't he?
2. Ditto
3.

Chelsea can win the quadruple. Any big four team can, but none of them will.

Re: The Dirty League - Fantasy Football/Soccer 2008/09 season
I was responding to the point that Scolari said Chelsea was capable of winning the PL, CL, CC and FAC.

"We have four competitions this season and I'll try to win all four..." - Scolari

I think Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all capable (because of the talent they have) of winning any of those four but the chances that any one of those teams will win all four is very small. Sorry to be pedantic, I'm not sure what is confusing.

is Keane a good fantasy team member any more or less now that he has moved?

Re: The Dirty League - Fantasy Football/Soccer 2008/09 season
no team has ever won all four before - why does he think he can even try and win all four...

yeah come in and say there are four competitions and try and win in each of them all, but its different saying i will try and will ALL four...

never been done before... and this comes after Chelsea failed to win three of the four last year at the last hurdle...

if any team is capable of winning all four its a team with pedigree and history of winning - and thats not Chelsea...
