if you read the sleeve notes to Dubno...it says produced by Underworld (darren emerson, karl hyde, richard smith) not (karl hyde, richard smith)

it also says on the CD itself written by smith / hyde

except tracks 2 & 3 written by emerson / smith / hyde (these two tracks are mmm...skyscraper and surfboy


so i think that your information is wrong, emerson didn't just sit around and say 'thats a good beat', he actually helped in the writing process of two songs and was creditted as a producer on all 9 of them....

and this is not some nice creditting on the behalf of rick and karl, because if you look at the notes on the spikee / dogman go woof CD / 12", Spikee - is written and produced by emerson, hyde & smith, but Dogman Go Woof, written produced and mixed by emerson and smith (no sign of hyde mentioned)
