Portishead - Third.

23 Jan 2008 We're pleased to announce that we'll be releasing our album, titled THIRD. on April 14th 2008. The album has 11 tracks and is 49 minutes 13 seconds long. --- oh yes. i will FIGHT/KNIFE anyone who has a problem with the title. |

I hope it shows some development in their sound. I loved Dummy, but was slightly disappointed by the second album because it was so much of a more-of-the-same type of thing. I'm all for them still sounding like Portishead, but I do hope it doesn't sound like a bunch of tracks that could have been outtakes from Dummy again. It's a safe bet I'll buy it either way though...

Dummy is still one of my "played" albums from time to time. I really really really hope this is going to be as good.

Someone recorded the second night, and the sound is much much better than the one's that were leaked/posted online from the first night (and the audience is quieter as well - there's little to no audience noise whatsoever during the actual tracks) anyone want me to upload those tracks? |
