Turned out to be a real promo. They're the same MP3's on the CD though as the ones that we purchased for download. The whole series is too long to fit on a CDDA.
which is probably why it went for a dirt cheap price...

Re: Beautiful Burnout release date
by the way...

you can get (almost) all of them on beatport now!!!!!!!!!!!!

only thing that's strange, is that when I went to buy the 5-track version (with the Mark Knight Dub), it said that the release was territory restricted. But then, when I clicked on the 4 track version - which still is on the same label (underworldlive) - it wasn't territory restricted

...now - WHY would the Mark Knight mix be non-restricted, but the Mark Knight Dub be restricted to certain regions?

Re: Beautiful Burnout release date
really now, there's nothing vaguely depressing about seeing the same song tracklisted 6 times with a different remixer at the helm? would it be so murderously hard to throw an original track or two in? god knows they're kicking around in spades.

i'd like to buy the singles but presently i simply cant justify it. i'm not interested in what tiefschwartz does to an underworld song. it just belongs to neither of them anymore for the sake of brief club play.

they wont even put their own remixes on the disc

Re: Beautiful Burnout release date
Dubman, i agree with you fully. I've often wondered how many remixes never get played. A lot, i'd bet. Bless the producers who toiled to remix the track (and it must be something of an honor to be asked to remix UW anyway), but in my mind, a track's gotta be pretty huge on its own right before the crowds get tired of it and dancefloor remixes are warranted. Otherwise, it's just a dillution of the original and rarely fun for headphone listening.

I'm looking forward to BB mostly on the strength of the extended version.
But yes, why can't we get a little UW rarity sumpin'-sumpin' to round out the 80 minutes and encourage some sales?

My money's on another Riverrun release in summer...rather than many b-sides getting released via the singles.

Man am I glad to see other people saying this too. I literally just put the digital download of the single in my shoppig cart, then decided to listen to the clips before buying (I usually don't with Underworld releases). After a quick listen, I didn't buy it. I'm all for remixes, but these are just boring to me. When I buy Underworld releases, I want some freakin' Underworld, dammit!
