Best album of the 80s?

I'll throw a handful out there. I tried to pick a few that I remember hearing so much while in grade school. It's not as groundbreaking of a list as Matt's.

Peter Gabriel -- So
U2 -- The Joshua Tree
The Police -- Synchronicity
Prince and The Revolution -- Purple Rain OST
Van Halen -- 1984 (hope I don't get flamed for this one)

Now that I've gone back and bought more '80s CDs than I know what to do with, I'd like to include:

Depeche Mode -- Black Celebration
Prince -- Sign 'O' the Times (in my opinion his best album)
