Re: The Official OWB Thread
For those who have been able to resist the temptation of torrents (anyone?), there are some short samples of some of the tracks from OWB up on the traffic japan site:

- Matthew

PS: cuddle bunny is awesome. I thought cool bits like that would only ever appear on the lemonworld broadcasts.

Re: The Official OWB Thread
I like the album and after the happiness of ADO I like the slightly scathing nature of tracks like Ring Road and Boy, Boy, Boy.

I had two things on my personal wish list for this album:

1) I was hoping for HiFi album versions of Small Conker and a Twix & You Do Scribble

2) On Cuddle Bunny Vs The Celtic Villages I really wanted to hear what I regard as an acute bit of Engerland observation, originally heard in an old Lemonworld broadcast. It's remained with me and I find myself talking the words over the album version

When she talks she makes a sound I want to hear
But he's her interpreter, talking over her
Listening to the sound of his own voice

Tiny island dweller
Spinning in his own stew
Whistling at cappuccinos

Interjector
Agitator
Feel the disturbance of the flow

Drawing maps on the backs of paper napkins
Hauling his great bulk around the coffeehouse
In this home of the fancy sweet thing he's a roadblock to her radiance

Just another technicolor freak
Indelicate, damaged & loud

Essex makes only for the world

Re: The Official OWB Thread
So according to those samples on iTunes Loads of Birds is also from the Sunshine soundtrack.
Interesting.

I'm also waiting for my Japanese CD+DVD copy... hopefully it doesn't take too long to go through customs.
