It doesn't indicate cause of death in the article. I've also been digging for information as I'm curious (and a closet wrestling fan admittadly ), and I'm really hoping that they have it backwards, that Benoit's wife poisoned the family or something. Regardless, this is indeed a tragedy, and something to be mourned. People sometimes hit incredible lows and they need help to manage the situation. Perhaps if he would've recieved or sought help, this could've been avoided.

None the less, I can't imagine that WWE will be beating its chest for weeks over this like they did with Eddie Guerro. It's very hard to celebrate the life of a murderer. Tonight's ECW episode will indicate what's in store for WWE's commemorations I'm sure, and if the autopsies do in fact get released today, I'd wager that WWE will try its hardest to seperate itself from this incident if the findings are "unfavorable".

I'd also like to say that in addition to all else, I'm particularly saddened at the millions of kids around the world that will have to cope with the fact that one of their heroes was a murderer. Benoit was always painted as a hard-working person who stood for righteousness and excellence, and you know that there are going to be a lot of heartbroken kids.
