I recently rediscovered an old issue of Mixmag with an Emerson interview in it... in the interview - he said that his album was coming out in the next couple of months

unfortunately - this magazine was from like a year ago! if not even longer.... I would even go as so far as to say that - it was due like this past November

Although, I can't check the exact dates, as I'm out of town right now

Well it looks like Darren Emerson's Girlfriend Kate Thornton has been give the elbow from ITV1's the X-Factor... ok so this is todays Heat news, but still, anyway, in the article it said:

'When Heat's Reporter confronted her with the stories (of her leaving the show) in the autumn, the star turned on him and her boyfriend DJ Darren Emerson threatened to stamp on is tape recorder'.

Emerson is shit. He plays cheesy dance music. Admit it Matt Val. His sets are the most obvious selection of absolute shite from his own sub-par label, popular cuts off other labels (i.e. shit Tong will play) and the odd classic track tossed in. Emerson was relevent from 1992-1994. After that he lost the plot. Seeing it as anything else will be taken as a "brown-nose" attempt to secure more acetates and the odd promo cdr.
