i'm not going to say it any better than that so i agree there 100%

Re: Trentemoller - The Last Resort
Just received my cd (actually my cds... as it's the "limited" edition with the singles bonus cd) and I have to say I absolutely love this album.

Special mention to "Moan" (vocal version). Magic!

ps : I'll keep playing it in few hours on a train going to Frankfurt... mmm...

Beautiful album no? So dark and funky too.
I could listen to Evil Dub all day.

Then I guess you won't be at APT for Adam Beyer next Tuesday, either.

"always something better" is my stand-out track so far; i'm a sucker for ringing sounds!

Re: Trentemoller - The Last Resort
Take me into your skin on disc 1 and polar shift on disc 2 are by far the best things i've heard in a long time.

i've been boasting trentemoller since way back when that le champagne/work in progress EP came out on naked in 2003. and for a while i was saddened he suddenly went quiet. but after listening to this album..his silence was with good reason.

i think its probably the best electronic record of the year.

Re: Trentemoller - The Last Resort
Mine turned up over the weekend and I've not had a proper listen yet but the brief airing it got last night didn't yield anything as woofta-doofta as his remix of Royksopp's What Else Is There? which is surely one of the best things to come out of the last 12 months.

I'm hoping this is a 'grower'.

I'm enjoying his Essential Mix that he did just over a week ago. Marvellous.
