Reminder - Dirty Meet - The End - London - 29th July
Change of venue for the first round: Bar Baroque in Ealing instead of The Daily. Seems like Ian will be spinning there so we get all in one night: A fellow dirt spinning, then a former Uw member doing the same.

Again anyone who wants to join in is welcomed!

Bar Baroque is here

Nearest tube Ealing Broadway (Central/District Lines) then about 10-15 mins walk. 8.30pm with a Dirty DJ spinning at 9.30 til 11.00.

(no pressure, then!) i'll be doing a chill-up set - starting off with easy-going stuff, then gently upping the pace towards 11, when dj housefoundation takes over for 3 hours of house music (and dirts zip off to see dazza)

well, the most off-putting thing i've had so far was a tenacious request to play the proclaimers 'because they're irish'.

Re: Reminder - Dirty Meet - The End - London - 29th July
sorry dudes, you may have summised from my lack of intervention (in replying to this thread) that I won't be coming out on a Sat night...

numerous reasons, but mainly i've done my bollocks this month, it was issy's birthday last week and its my sisters wedding next week... sadly any other month i'd have been well up for it (not to mention spending a load on a rare uw CD this week as well....)

anyway you guys have a great time - and say hi to Emmo for me

sorry again ...do have fun

Matt

Matt, you missed a great night!

Ian did us proud at Baroque. Started out his set nice and chilled then gradually racked up the beatz. Dropped the Disco Citizen's mix of Offshore by Chicane (which is one of my personal favourites) that had me in raptures . The venue is great too - nice terraced garden out the back, superb staff, yummy cocktails and even a dining area doing Kiwi food.

The End was superb. Jon Carter (who I have never heard spin before) warmed up for Mr E beautifully. Darren himself was on top form too. Good crowd, great drops, sore feet this morning.

really good to see you guys there - thanks again for the effort; sorry the dancefloor didn't get going - maybe i got the beats a bit strong a bit early (then again; paul had somebody saying he should 'play some buster ryhmes' to get people dancing!)

hope you make it along next week too (same goes for any passing dirt-in-town!)

Planning on it - maybe eating there too. The food sounds scrummy
