In defense of the reaction to BLD's comment, while I am a Tool fan you need to look no further than the posts written on these forums about the Cochella show to back up the common conception of the ignorant, arrogant and misguided Tool fan.

Just a thought...

A generic, useless, thoughtless thought.

A band is NEVER their fans. It just doesn't work that way. What if George Bush said he loves, say, Sigur Ros?

HAHAHAHAHAHA this is funny as fuck. (laughing out loud here, *wipes tea from monitor screen*)

Put the handbags away Tool fans.

I think that BLD aka Biznotic has been around these parts too long and contributed too much to be considered a troll. I suppose a line about how these two know each other for years should have been forthcoming but i've never seen such the touch paper lit so quickly in here over a one line post.

I've seen worse shit written about Underworld on here over the years and with less reactionary responses.

Anyway, he's explained the background now so the venom can stop right here.

It doesn't matter whether it's TooL, Underworld or Los Manolos. He was trolling as he's got a new username which we aren't supposed to know that belongs to a long-time dirt or whatever. And he didn't put anything that could lead anyone to think that the post was written in a tongue in cheek, ironic private joke way.

Anyway I admit I was intrigued at BLD's postcount, but didn't care in looking his profile or recent posts....

this is what i'm talking about! well said bxsci, btw, i'm having my STFU on ice this morning since it's so warm and beautiful in the emerald city.

adam, good morning! we should hang sometime since we're practically neighbors. i may be in Vancouver in a couple weeks, i'll send you a PM when I know more about my plans, perhaps we can hit up some record shops and shoot the breeze.

i stand by all those quotes you pulled and think others would find the context does matter.

If anyone else has a problem with me or anything i write, please select IGNORE in your user settings and the problem will be gone! it's easy!

have just tested it: Select User CP then near the bottom left, select Buddy/Ignore and paste this: BrotherLovesDub into the Ignore input box. save and you're done! good luck!
