nah man, rjd2 isn't on anything original, he's got a few cuts with flavor here and there, but when it comes to hip-hop/downtempo beats I much prefer:
Dabrye Shadow Krush Anti-Pop (Earl Blaize pruducing) Beans Tricky Cannibal Ox (El-P producing) Dizzee Rascal Wiley Kool Keith (Automator or Kut Master Kurt producing) I need something original and/or progressive na mean? Dead Ringers was garbage bag... |

I've seen RJD2 live a few times. My favorite moment during one of his shows was when he asked the audience,
"How many of you are djs?" Several dozen white-boy bedroom djs raise their hands and say, "OOH! OOH! ME! ME!" "Do you any of you know what scratch technique I used right there?" Silence. "It's called: Pure. Fucking. Brilliance." |
