machin chouette: the difference is, when we use P2P we dont actively distribute and sell to people from an internet shop. RTSR is non-profit and on the cover of every release it states NOT FOR SALE. When we use soulseek, many of us just download, and all that do upload/share do not do it for a profit.

Yes, you could argue that downloading from soulseek is illegal but I would say gathering these recordings and selling them on ebay is much more illegal and likely to upset the copyright owners a lot more.
