Re: Thinking of New Tracks
we also have, Silver Boots/Always Loved a Film and TT from the radioshows, which both sounded like pretty much complete tracks.
There's some other new tracks played live besides Kenny Penne/You do Scribble. There were at least two in the HMH gig, both very laid back tunes, and sounded advanced enough that I do think they're actual tracks rather than improvs.

Yes Always Loved A film/Silver Boots (that will be nice to have on album) I still want Birro the Leggy, but maybe there is no chance... TT was interresting piece, souded like complete tracks. Shame is that Birro the Leggy and 020202 are only ideas and maybe will be not ever released.

Re: Thinking of New Tracks
tt and silver boots didn't sound anything like complete tracks to me. silver boots had a good beat, but it was incomplete.. i don't know what it was missing, but it was SOMETHING. tt sounded a little more complete, but it sounded like it would be a mediocre track when released, like air towel.
all in my opinion, of course. tt might turn out to be a great song. |

Re: Thinking of New Tracks
Disagree. The devil was in the details with that track. I loved the backing synth line, it's amazing how 2 notes will excite you but it really filled in the song. The beat was also incredible.
They could finish that track out with some vox and a progression or two more, and it would slam.

Re: Thinking of New Tracks
Hmm, Silver Boots is the best thing from all the new stuff we've heard if you ask me. It has a great groove, nice fast beat, and this cool dark melancholy atmosphere. I still think this was near completion. At least it had evolved quite a bit from the live version they played in Japan. Shame they haven't played it since.

Bang the Poll NOT Pool and Electronic Part one is just Bang the Poll under a different name, as is JAL to Tokyo, which i think was the first name Bang the Poll had...(i believe) either way there are two mixes of this track, one which Paul Woolford played, the faster one without the filtered vocal, the filtered one which Tongy played (probably the album version / radio edit?) and then Woolford also has at least 4 accapella's as he played Acapella 3 & Accapella 4 in two different sets.... so until we see the official release we don't know which is which really...anyway new stuff is coming hoorary...
