Re: Underworld at Sydney Opera House concert film/documentary
Wow - not what I was expecting, really great for a short film. Figured it would just be a truncated concert, but it's more of a best of and recap of their journey (mainly their SOH journey with all the arty architectural footage and look back at previous shows there, but still elevates it).
For being in their mid-60's they are really into it - sure, we know Karl used to dance around everywhere and lose himself, but I've always been amazed how much he does. He was deeply into this version of Dirty Epic - some better live versions of it, but the filming of this one was really epic (fittingly). And Born Slippy had a great extension, really pounded. Think it's a great document overall, though of course would love a full concert too. Hopefully someone rips it.

Re: Underworld at Sydney Opera House concert film/documentary
I don't know. I was a little disappointed with the Sydney film. Either show the full show or if you're gonna do something about the history of Underworld, then I'd expect something more. It was too short. Plus being pulled in two different directions makes the end result feel kind of underwhelming. Make a proper documentary woven within live footage from throughout their career or focus on showing the full Sydney concert.
