You Scandinavians surely are perverted regarding pop music. Is nothing sacred anymore?

Could be that theatre group that used a lot of UW music in the Beauitiful Burnout film.

Okay, I've just checked the news to make sure I'm not re-stating the obvious again...

...but has nobody yet discussed this?

"Music and Soundscore: Underworld"
Debuts in February.
Linked from Karl's December 7th diary entry.

Hoping for a recording!

Nope, I don't think anyone noticed. Nice find. Although Danny Boyle being involved should have been a clue to dig deeper, and then we might've seen the credits page.

Yeah, maybe an official cast recording CD release?

Screenwriter Nick Pear (Persuasion) has penned the play, which will be filmed for a television airing for those who can't make out to the South Bank for the real deal.
Although that was from January, so who knows if that's still the plan. I had no idea that Boyle originally came from the world of theater.

Edit 2: Some music details: http://www.collider.com/2010/11/07/d...tein-olympics/

Quote:
The Royal (National Theatre which houses the Olivier where the play will be) is known for musicians and employs a lot of musicians. So, will you score it?

Boyle: Well, I’m hoping to kind of musically score it to a degree, but it’ll be a play of performance and speech and there will be some musical elements in it (but it won’t be a musical).
Edit 3: Collaboration with Alex Baranowski

Very pleased to announce I’m presently working with electro duo Underworld, arranging the score to the much anticipated Frankenstein directed by Oscar winning Danny Boyle, and opening at the National’s Olivier Theatre in February 2011.
