Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
quite a disappointing match between ivory coast and portugal, but obviously both teams tried their best not to risk anything. should be interesting in the second round.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
"should be interesting in the second round" seems to be the mantra by those foolish enough / desperate enough to not think football/soccer is the most boring game on earth.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010
There's no right answer to that question because all sports have their flaws. I will say that games should never end in ties and penalty kicks/shootouts should never determine a winner, especially in the Championship game.

edit: I will list sports that are more exciting to watch than 'football/soccer'

Basketball
Hockey
Lacrosse
Table Tennis
Tennis
Water Polo
Cycling
Softball
Handball
Racketball
Ultimate Frisbee
Jai Alai
Marbles
Checkers
Hop Scotch
Double Dutch
Cricket
