Re: TONIGHT... Scribble - New Single
So, been listening to this all day when I've had the chance and I still love it. For me, it is better then Crocodile when that came out for OWB. It sounds better for a start and the video is better. Still don't understand people complaining about the radio edit:

1)Remember when TMO came out? We heard the epic long version first when Pete Tong played it. Then we got the crap radio edit which tried to do everything in go. If the same had been done, I'd probably hate TMO but the full length has the lovely build and initial mix.

2)UW need to sell records to make money and yer it is perfect for radio, but this will mean they extend their fanbase and get more people interested.

3)Gay as it sounds, Zane Lowe is pretty influencial in terms of getting stuff noticed, so to have him having it as the hottest record in the world will do UW wonders. Other Radio 1 DJ's pick up on it and play it.

4)During AHDO and OWB, there was bot all radio/TV play for UW. I think this will bring them back in the frame again and got away from Euro shite dance music. To my knowledge, only The Prodigy/Chemicals have gotten their music out there.

5)I'm hoping this is a more dancey record as for me the last two had their moments like TMO,Luetin,Holding The Moth and BB but nothing else of any real merit like PG,BS,Rez etc. With stuff like Bamboo, Diamond Jigsaw, its pretty clear that happy UW are coming back with lots of strong vibes.
