Re: VP Debate Drinking Game
the mccain/obama one was somewhat predictable. people watched it to note for any gross deficiencies but there werent any, really.
so it was okay to watch and wasnt particularly stressful
but i am calling sneaky tricks on this one. i dont know what the palin camp is going to pull but there's no goddamnw ay it's going to be played straight. it's going to be devious and evasive. it's going to tussle against someone with loooooong years of international experience and the only thing she has to do is escape relatively unscathed for major bonus points. i do not like this one bit. i will be hiding underneath a large amount of covers with small black pills and my BB gun. and maybe my laptop, talking on aim, going "oh god oh god oh god what are they doing ughguhghghughghghhghhhhhhh"

best case scenario: she rambles on and on and on and either ends up sounding either like a wikipedia refrence desk or a second kouric interview. biden calls her out on errors shes prone to make to keep it interesting because he has to keep his "gosh im an old man and im mighty flustered by this crap" to a minimum. mccain tried to warm up to this but the little time he did show it he just looked like ol fudders.

worst case scenario: biden "bullies" palin. he talks down to her so much the republicans will be hollering sexism again just because they can. palins flubs are overlooked, and analysis ends up saying "she actually sounded a lot more articulate and might not be given enough credit after all."
