Got the JAL 12 today and if im being honest, i think i could have spend 3.99 on something else more deserving then 2 remixs that sound very similar.

Re: launch initial sales in Japan
yeah, you could have downloaded the files and bought something else. perhaps a happy meal at mcdonalds.

i'm happy to be getting the physical products in my hand, even with the high quality audio files of all the tracks sitting on my HD. money well spent, as far as i'm concerned.

got the email from hmv.jp today that my order has shipped!

Me too! This will be the first vinyl I've ever purchased in my life.

(Um, I don't have anything to play them on. )

Re: launch initial sales in Japan
if you put 12^ vinyl in an oven on a low heat for 2 hours they slowly shrink to the size of cd's so you can play em in a normal cd player

honest!

Started like that for me too (got a record I wanted, before buying a turntable).

But it would be equally (or even more) sad to have a turntable without anything to play on it .

Got my vinyl today. They look great. They fit nicely on the shelf next to the laserdiscs.
