Boys of Summer - Don Henley

Yehiknow.

I can't help it. Still my favourite song ever. The first time I ever heard this I was driving down the motorway listening to the radio, and he played this note in the break that hit me so hard (at about 2 mins 43 for anyone who is interested) that I pulled the car over to the hard shoulder to listen to the rest of it.

The lyrics are lost love/stalkerish, but intense, and really fitted the time I was going through then. LOVE. EVERY. SECOND. OF. IT.

Nice one burnout. Got my hair slicked back and my wayfarers on....

In the meantime, currently playing Paul Kelly's Darling It Hurts. Old school Aussie Rock from 87.

Wherever You Are - Ulrich Schnauss

I'm still baffles me as to how this didn't make it onto the original release of his first album. Absolutely gorgeous.

I'm discovering The Timewriter through his new LP "Soulstickers", only with productions but mixed. Deep deep house.
