Re: Can't sleep...
it really depends on what you find relaxing but here's a few suggestions...

Global Communication - 76:14.
aphex twin - selected ambient works Vol 2
the album leaf - one day i'll be on time
tristezza - dream signals in full circles
Bill Laswell - Book of Exit (dub chamber)
boards of canada - in a beautiful place out in the country ep
dead can dance - spirit chaser
american beauty original score (not the soundtrack)
helios - eingya
Max Richter - MemoryHouse or The Blue Notebooks

but really you should be telling these guys to stop their bitching.

My other all time chill-out music is prolly a bit too old and hippy-esque for a lot of the people on here, but the first half of Ommadawn by Mike Oldfield is guaranteed to wash all the tension away for me.

Re: Can't sleep...
There are some really awesome suggestions in this thread. Mine'll probably go overlooked, but see if you can find the albums Aether, Sex or See Through/Mosquito by The Necks. They're indescribably amazing albums (solitary tracks that evolve over 60-70 minutes) that will either lull you to sleep or put you into some form of trance.
