To be honest, I don't care how many women Tiger may or may not have been enjoying carnal relations with - he's an outstanding golfer. And he still is - possibly the greatest player of the game the world has yet seen.

It's been depressing listening/watching the media handwringing and emotionally angst-ridden bullshit that passes as sports analysis over the last few months.

You cared whether or not you could live vicariously through his outstanding ability to swing a golf club and place a small white ball on a manicured strip of lawn. You paid good money to stand next to a paddock and watch him walk past. You bought anything with the swoosh on it - because he wore it.

Did you care about his personal life before?

No. No you didn't.

So don't pretend like you care for Elin and the poor children now, or even imagine that you can be surprised that a high profile sports personality has women throw themselves at him. Don't shake your head and tut-tut like some sort of sycophantic Dear Abby.
