I think Boy Boy Boy is my favorite song on the album!

Though links to many of these reviews have already been posted (esp. see lloyd's excellent blog!), metacritic compiles and averages scores so you get a better idea of general opinion. Oblivion With bells is doing pretty favorably:

i also like boy boy boy... it is far better than Ring Road and Cuddle Bunny. They are both unlistenable for me.

I don't feel the need to skip through any of these songs...the whole thing is "listenable" IMHO

I was playing with OWB DVD today...this time it made me realize that we could have gotten more out of it. I'm really dissapointed of the galleries/slide shows. Only a few pictures?

One of the few bright spots on it is the Rez video. That thing is enchanting.

I thought the video was great for the couple extra bucks...There's always the other alternative.

The GMC video is cool.

okay, i could have not gotten the dvd, but as far as missed opportunities go, i'd say this is definitely one of them.

but yeah, the GMC vid is the coolest part about it.

Re: The Official OWB Thread
Every playing of OWB reviews new beautiful elements. Tracks 1 - 6 are very strong, a well integrated sense. But there are a few ambient bits i could do without. Cuddle Bunny and Good Morning Cockerel don't really interest me. I wish maybe they'd have included the lyrical version of "To heal" (this short wordless version is lovely, but i miss Rick's dad!) and maybe "Always Loved a Film" or "You Do Scribble", as these were really shaping up and which would have made the album a bit more upbeat. As it is, it's a thinking-dirt's sort of electronic experience, and still very enjoyable. Something for everyone, from echoes of UWmk1 (boy, boy, boy), dancey tracks, riverrun and soundtrack-esque musicianship, and brand new sounds to love. or learn to love with replays!
