Re: Good Day Today
I know i'm crazy but, I'm still holding onto a sliver of hope that this is Underworld related. Joethelion's Brian Eno comparison really has me curious if this isn't some track that is part of their collaboration that mistakenly got pressed and sent to KCRW.

Re: Good Day Today
it's going to really suck if this track turns out to be like...

a side project by the frontman of some random "indie" band

oh god - isn't the lead singer of the Killers doing just that?????
nononononononononono.....

(edit)
not that the Killers were bad but I mean... ya know...

Re: Good Day Today
I still think there should be some mention of a forthcoming track titled Good Day Today online. While it doesn't sound like a complicated track, there is a sophistication about the production and restraint used that makes me believe it's from a seasoned producer. I'm still thinking about it! argh! Wish I could get some closure.

I play this song like 3 times a day and it's never getting old. If the band did this on purpose as some kind of marketing strategy, then they are geniuses because I haven't been this desperate to find the artist of a particular song in a long time.

Oooh, that would be devious, but also awesome!

(1) the track is not by Underworld, but someone is clever enough to slip it past labeled as such. Why, then, did the tracklist of Morning Becomes Eclectic sya "Chrysalis"? Someone needs to get sued.

(2) the track is by Underworld, but they're denying it for some reason (to gauge response? Some bands floor test a record- why not radio test it?)

(3) the track is not by Underworld, and the radio producers have really dropped the ball, so someone else is not getting their due exposure or should be reprimanded for implying that they are UW. Honest misunderstandings, but no one' a winner yet

hardly geniuses.
a few plays on a regional radio station and a bit of comment on one unrelated bands fans forum.
