very nice, melodic techno/tech-house (I guess) including the awesome "Azure".

With 'Azure' blowing up dancefloors across the globe, and new single 'No One Left To Follow' set to do the same, Slam are set to return with their fourth artist album 'Human Response'. Featuring collaborations with My Robot Friend and Dot Allison, the duo of Stuart McMillian and Orde Meikle return to the roots that made their earliest work so successful with an album of deep electronic sounds and techno that Slam fans have been anticipating for many months.

Peter Horrevorts - Evolver
Full-on, lush, funky techno from Holland. Great sounds and immaculate production, the last track "Birth" is an epic masterpiece.

After his single releases “Birth” and “Vaporize” Peter Horrevorts has taken a step forward and produced his debut album “Evolver” on Kanzleramt.
Peter followed his emotions and produced a soulful techno-album up to 130 bpm paired with light-hearted fresh grooves.
Touching most of the popular sub-genres of techno in these days, “Evolver” is a powerful and playful album rich in content and a proper rocker on the dancefloor!
As well as the nine tracker double-vinyl, the CD is loaded with a special and presents Peter´s epic “Birth” in a new album mix as bonus track.

well I heard that track with David Byrne, Lazy, in the gym a couple weeks ago but I didn't actually know who it was by. So when I got home I looked it up and found out it was from this album. The rest of the cd is pretty solid as well but Lazy's got to be my favourite

So far I am really enjoying that Villains LP, good review from Boomkat:

If you’re gonna make real metal music then you’ve got to be prepared to live the dream. The cover of this album features a blazing skull drenched in cheap bourbon and blood… and that’s exactly what the album sounds like; murderous, drunken sleazeball metal, filled with hate and substance abuse. A collision between classic metal (Poison, Slayer, Venom etc) and hardcore punk, Villains make an atrociously visceral racket and give you the feeling that the only way to move forward is to stab yourself with something addictive. Indeed the opening track ‘Before the Spike’ could very well be one of the world’s most fitting titles, as this is the entry point into a truly narcotic realm of devastating highs and ugly, bile sodden lows. Imagine watching ‘Faces of Death’ on 25x speed while knocking back spirits at 4am in a deserted NY strip joint and you’ll have some idea about what to expect on ‘Drenched in Poisons’. This is music for the body to dislocate from the mind, to let your subconscious desires do the talking for a change and to finally, once and for all let yourself go. Give it space to breathe and it could very easily get out of hand…
