sadly it has nothing to do with the quality of the performance, rather like already implied, the mobilisation of the fans...and sadly i think some of the otehr bands have bigger more 'mobilised' fan bases

i'm wondering how many of the voters have even seen these classic performances! Hearing them is one thing, if you've got a recording, but imho, there's no justification for voting if you've not actually experienced the gig. Except, of course, that it's kewl to ote for Radiohead. All the kids are doing it!
